Regulation 38 Information

We Provide Regulation 38 Information

Regulation 38 of the Building Regulations 2010 requires that
the person carrying out building work (i.e. building erection, extension or change of use) is  required to provide appropriate Fire Safety Information to the Responsible Person no later than the date of completion, or occupation, whichever is the earlier.

The purpose of providing this information is to enable the Responsible Person to do all the following:

  • Understand and implement the fire safety strategy of the building.
  • Maintain any fire safety system provided in the building.
  • Carry out an effective fire risk assessment of the building.
  • We assist the client by collating all this information from the contractor as part of the golden thread and make sure it’s all in order.
